AutoPulse ("we", "our", or "us") operates a cloud-based workshop management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: Name, email address, and role, provided during registration or via Google Sign-In.
Workshop data: Customer names, phone numbers, vehicle details, job records, invoices, and inventory — entered by you while using the platform.
Usage data: Basic activity logs for security and debugging purposes.
SMS integration: Customer phone numbers are used solely to send job status notifications via text.lk, only when explicitly configured by the workshop.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the AutoPulse platform.
To send job-related SMS notifications to your customers on your behalf.
To authenticate users securely via Supabase Auth and Google OAuth.
To improve reliability and fix bugs.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. Each workshop's data is isolated using row-level security policies — no workshop can access another workshop's data.

We use HTTPS for all data in transit and enforce authentication on all database operations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except:

Supabase — for database and authentication services.
text.lk — for SMS delivery, only if you configure the SMS feature.
When required by law or legal process.

5. Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your workshop account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Access or export your data at any time.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the platform.
